PHOTOGRAPHER & DIRECTOR
Born in the Philippines and raised in New Jersey from age 14, Dennis Tejero is a photographer whose work explores movement through places, identities, and moments. He photographs the space between presence and absence, using light to uncover what lingers beneath the surface and to hold stillness where weight and meaning quietly gather.
Influenced by the layered structure of Max Richter’s Spring 1, Tejero approaches photography as a sensory process that values atmosphere over explanation and finds significance in the ordinary. His work invites reflection, pursuing authenticity rather than perfection.
At its core, it is a study of presence in its most fleeting and human form.
Named by Vogue Italia in 2021 as one of the notable artists pushing for diversity in visual storytelling, Dennis Tejero’s personal projects have also been featured by Condé Nast Traveller, i-D, and more.
